Notice is hereby given to all Producers of Sound Recordings i.e. Record labels and Self-produced artists, that Kenya Association of Music Producers (KAMP) is in the process of paying the second and final royalty distribution (pay for play) amounting to KES 4,275,000 based on broadcast airplay for music monitored by the year ended 2016.

Kindly note that the total royalty distribution amount, owed to Producers of Sound Recordings for the year closing on 31st December 2016 was KES 8,550,000, of which KES 4,275,000 from communication to the public was disbursed in the month of August 2017.

All Producers of Sound Recordings, members and non-members of KAMP, are hereby encouraged to check their royalty payment status relating to the said period.

NOTE: All payments are final.

In preparation for the next distribution for the year 2017, Producers of Sound Recordings are requested to declare and submit all their works, including new releases, on or before Wednesday 31st January 2018. Please take note that only the recordings that are in our distribution system shall be used for royalty distribution.
