What We Do

KAMP’s primary role is to administer rights on behalf of our members. We do so by licensing music users (such as television and radio broadcasters, salons, retailers, restaurants, DJs, and shopping malls), through the collection of license fees which are then distributed as royalties.

Our Story

The Kenya Association of Music Producers (KAMP) was incorporated in 2003 as a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee, with founding Directors including Bruce Odhiambo, Japheth Kilonzo Kasanga, and others. Today, KAMP has evolved into an internationally recognized Collective Management Organisation (CMO), representing over 700 music producers in Kenya. Recently, KAMP transformed into 'KAMP Copyright and Related Rights Limited,' reflecting its commitment to inclusivity and enhanced representation for performers and producers alike.

ABOUT KAMP
